Meet the Goats

Most of the Goats on Pure Passions Farm are Nigerian Dwarfs.  The Nigerian Dwarf is an American breed of dwarf goat.  Like the Pygmy goat (which we have 1 of) it derives from the West African Dwarf group of breeds of West Africa  They are gregarious, friendly and hardy and can thrive in Ohio weather. Their gentle, calm and playful nature makes them good companion pets for everyone!  Their small size means they do not require as much space or feed.  However they LOVE to eat from our visitors' hands. Schedule a private tour or stop by during our open hours to MEET THE GOATS!

Pheonix: Nigerian Dwarf Doe.  She is a bit shy, but super sweet. She really likes a good head scratch! 

Penny: Nigerian Dwarf Doe.  She loves visitors and is our most friendly goat.  She will paw at you for some tasty snacks!

Kelly McGillis  Nigerian Dwarf Doe.  She is such a beautiful goat, just look at her markings!  Can you see the difference between her and Penny?

Perry Pigmy Whether.  Although he is a little more shy, he is never far from the girls (or the food)!

Monica:  Nigerian Dwarf Doe.  Such a sweet girl, just stick out your hand with a little bit of food and watch it disappear!

Natosha: Nigerian Dwarf Doe.  She is always on the look out for a new visitor.  Come see her soon!

Crimson: Nigerian dwarf doe. She has such a beautiful rose coat.  We are learning to be more social.  

Lil Splash of Paint:  Nigerian dwarf doe.  She is our one and only bearded goat and she loves attention and getting brushed.
